I work with clients who

have tried everything and nothing seems to work,

are running on fumes,

have been asked to go to therapy by their partner, but are not sure why,

can’t see a better alternative than what they’re doing now,

think they are not giving some of their relationships the attention they deserve,

wish they had better tools in their toolbox,

have been numbing out,

and feel inadequate.

If this sounds like you, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure this out by yourself. If you’d like to see if therapy with me would be a good fit, book a free consultation call.

Individual Therapy

We’ll slow down, get curious about what’s really going on, and build tools that fit your life.

Fee: $60-$160

Couples Therapy

For couples who feel more like roommates than partners, where one of you shuts down and the other is tired of trying. We’ll look at the pattern the two of you get stuck in, so you can reconnect without blame.

Fee: $75-$185

Family and Relationship Therapy

Support for any relationship or two or more people where you are stuck in a pattern of missing one another, whether that’s a polycule, a family, siblings, friends, colleagues, coparents, or roommates.

All sessions are 50 minutes and take place virtually. I am based in Portland, OR and I work with clients located anywhere in Oregon and Washington.

Hi, I’m Katie

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate based in Portland, Oregon. Before becoming a therapist I taught math at the middle and high school level, then worked as a software engineer and manager in the tech industry. I received my MA in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling, and my BS in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In my free time I like to cook for friends, walk my dog, dance (country western and cumbia), read books, lift weights, and play tennis.

I am supervised by Paula Emerick, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
